What we do

We offer a range of civil engineering services specialising in transportation engineering. This includes:

  • Traffic and Transport Impact Assessment
  • Traffic Modelling and Transport Planning
  • Feasibility Studies and Business Cases
  • Road and Highways Design
  • Road Safety and Crash Analyses
  • Pavement Design
  • Parking Studies and Assessment
  • Project and Contract management

We prepare Traffic and Transport Impact Assessment to evaluate the potential implications on development proposals. With previous local government experience, our engineers have thorough understanding of the approval processes associated with development applications and how the key tests of development planning can be met.

In the area of roads and highways design, we offer feasibility (options development), preliminary and detailed design to support the delivery of transport infrastructure works. We use the latest version of 3D modelling software such as MX Road, OpenRoads, 12D or Civil 3D as a tool to complete the 3D geometric design models for roads and highways in an efficient manner to standards. We incorporate safety in design, environmental and social aspects into all road design services.

We have professional pavement engineers who complete pavement designs to Austroads and LGA Standards. We specialise in all flexible, rigid and composite pavements engineering. We use mechanistic approach in completing pavement designs to required standards. We also evaluate existing pavements and propose treatment solution during rehabilitation works. Our pavement engineers use software such as circly, HiPAVE and Microsoft Excel models to complete pavement designs.

In line with our expertise in delivering road infrastructure projects for public and private organisations, we have sound knowledge of AS 2124 and AS 4000 General Conditions of Contract with ability to develop business case to ensure timely and effective delivery of contract outcomes against budget. We have the expertise to undertake review of procurement process and development plans in line with Government’s PPP (Public Private Partnership) Agenda to encourage competition. We are familiar with the Annual Procurement Plan (APP) and Commonwealth Procurement Guidelines (CPG) which provides detailed instructions regarding procurement within the Australian Public Service and provide a framework of guidelines under which road authorities can issue their own policies and procedures.
